Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Wilmington, NC
Pay Rate: Based on experience
Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience
Position Overview
The Quality Process Technician supports manufacturing quality performance by analyzing production processes, product quality data, and system metrics to reduce scrap, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with quality and customer requirements. The role works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to drive root cause analysis, support disposition decisions, and implement sustainable process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze quality and production data to support disposition of material and product holds
Set up specifications and workflows for new product codes and experiments
Support root cause analysis for non-conforming products and processes
Conduct or support Measurement System Analysis (MSA) activities
Improve process capability through data-driven analysis and quality system tools
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Prepare reports, dashboards, and quality status updates
Provide training on quality systems, procedures, and corrective actions
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a process or quality technician in a manufacturing environment
Experience with data collection and analysis tools (Excel, Access, etc.)
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Experience with statistical and quality analysis methods
Strong analytical, observational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with JMP, Minitab, or SPC XL
Familiarity with PI systems
Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality systems
Soft Skills

Results-driven with a continuous improvement orientation
Strong data curiosity and problem-solving mindset
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
