Benefits: Health insurance Dental Insurance options Free Life insurance Union Pension Paid Time Off Paid Sick Time Sign On Bonus Shift Differentials Employee Assistance program As member of our Clinical Laboratory team at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital, you’ll process specimens, maintain quality control, maintain instrumentation, perform routine and STAT laboratory testing throughout every area of the lab including but not limited to Hematology, Coagulation, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, Arterial Blood Gas, Toxicology, Immunology, Serology, and Microbiology. You’ll report all test results in timely manner, and report critical test results to the ordering unit immediately upon verification of the result and documents notification accordingly. You’ll process, package, and store reference lab specimens for transportation to specialized laboratories. Other duties as assigned. Requires: BS in Medical Lab Technology, or BS in Chemical, Physical or Biological sciences with one year of hospital Clinical Laboratory Technologist or similar experience. Requires a Valid and active NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist Registration/License.
