Job Captain / Project Architect

Design Professional (6–10 Years) – MultifamilyStudio PBA is seeking a Design Professional to support the design and delivery of multifamily housing projects, locally and nationally. This role is ideal for a well-rounded architectural professional who can contribute across all phases, from concept through construction, while working in a fast-paced, technically focused environment.Key Responsibilities:Contribute to the design and documentation of multifamily projects (garden-style, podium, mixed-use, urban infill)Apply strong knowledge of unit planning, building systems, and code compliance (IBC, accessibility, life safety)Prepare and coordinate construction documents with a high level of accuracy and efficiencyTake ownership of project components, including drawings, specifications, and material selectionsSolve design and technical challenges independently, collaborating with leadership on complex issuesCoordinate with consultants and internal teams to ensure smooth project deliveryUtilize advanced techniques and contribute to improving project workflowsMentor and support junior team members as neededQualifications:6–10 years of experience, ideally in multifamily or residential architectureLicensure preferred but not requiredStrong experience in construction documentation (wood-frame, podium, or concrete)Solid understanding of zoning and building codesProficiency in RevitAbility to work independently and collaborativelyWhy Studio PBA:Nationally recognized multifamily portfolioCollaborative, developer-focused environmentOpportunity to take ownership of meaningful project work
