These classifications form the foundation for peer group analysis, benchmarking, and market trend evaluation. As a Classifications Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for streamlining and scaling the delivery of classification data across asset types by designing and implementing automated workflows. You will partner with stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, apply modern technologies (including AI/ML where appropriate), and build solutions that improve data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.You will play a key role in transforming manual or semi-manual processes into robust, automated pipelines while developing business intelligence to monitor performance and outcomes.We’ll Trust You ToAnalyze and optimize existing workflows, identifying opportunities for automation and scalabilityDesign, build, and maintain automated data pipelines and tools to improve efficiency and accuracyEvaluate and apply AI/ML/NLP techniques to enhance classification processes and decision-makingPartner with Data, Engineering, Product, and Business teams to deliver scalable solutionsDevelop metrics and monitoring to ensure data quality, timeliness, and operational performanceUnderstand financial datasets and client use cases to inform automation prioritiesYou’ll Need To HaveBachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience4+ years of Python programming and scripting in a production environmentExperience building or maintaining automated workflows, pipelines, or data systems Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Natural Language Processing (NLP), or Machine Learning (ML) conceptsStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detailEffective communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teamsAdaptability and a proactive approach to driving change and improvementLegal authorization to work full-time in the United States without current or future visa sponsorshipWe’d Love To SeeExperience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum)Familiarity with the Bloomberg TerminalKnowledge of financial markets and instrumentsExperience with data visualization or BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik SenseDoes this sound like you?Apply if you think we're a good match.
