Job SummaryMembers of the Outside Service Team are responsible for assuring exceptional, first-class service for our guests. Outside Service Team Members must give a positive first impression of the golf course as well as contribute to maintaining a functional course through guest assistance, cleaning of golf carts, and other appointed tasks.Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions Greet all guests and members in a friendly mannerAnticipate and meet the needs of each guest whenever possibleBe accessible and available to assist in any station of needRun food and beverages to guestsPrepare carts for operations and maintain the cart fleetClean and inspect the rental sets; report any deficiencies to the professional staff immediatelyLoad clubs and equipment onto carts for guestsTransport all golf clubs from the receiving area to the staging areas in preparation for playMaintain the washing, cleaning, and stocking of our golf cart fleetPrepare and maintain the driving rangeMonitor and clean the short game and long game practice areasClean the range and retrieve ballsMaintain golf course groundsGeneral restroom cleaning along the courseEnsure there are clean and folded towels availableMonitor the towel, scorecard, pencil, and golf tee supplyMaintain an organized and clean bag room operationMonitor the parking lotEquipment Drop AttendantAll other duties as assignedEducation and ExperienceSufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needsAbility to read, write, speak, and communicate in basic English preferredPrevious experience in the golf industry preferredPrevious customer experience preferredKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesDetail oriented and thorough Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standardsAbility to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guestsAbility to interact with guests in a pleasant friendly wayAbility to drive a golf cartBasic knowledge of golf operationsStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to solve conflicts individuallyAbility to work as part of a team effectively and efficiently Physical DemandsAbility to spend entire shift on feet and walking (sometimes running)Ability to lift 50 lbsAbility to bend, stoop, reach, and kneel while handling equipment Ability to perform repetitive motions such as cleaning, retrieving balls, or setting up areasWorking ConditionsFast-paced, outdoor work environment, may include indoor as neededExposure to the elements to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, and sunPotentially noisy environment due to golf carts, equipment, and active driving rangeThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not an exclusive list of all duties and responsibilities.
