Extraction Technician I - 2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM)
Extraction Technician I - 2nd Shift Extraction Technician I is responsible for support of extraction and production operations. The focus of the role is to prep, weigh, and ensure quality of input and output material. The role requires attention to detail and an understanding of extraction equipment and science.Key duties and responsibilities include:Ensuring incoming inspections of incoming batches of flower and pre roll material are being performedEnsuring proper bud size per brand standard, weighing out and packaging flower, fresh frozen, and/or trim during and after machine operationPerforming auxiliary duties and supporting the extraction tech 2 in operationsTrained to perform basic machine setup, inventory documentation, and observe/record metrics of operationFilling out all proper paperwork checks and PM documentation, submitting any issues with equipment to leads and Facilities and MaintenanceEnsuring sealing machine is operating correctly, checking that the seal is to standard and machines are operating correctlyEnsuring cleaning processes for equipment, supplies, area, and verification paperwork is filled out, and PPE per cGMP and Trulieve maintenance standards are being performedMaintaining detailed records of completed tasks for documentation and traceability, collaborating with the facilities and maintenance team and leadership to resolve any issues and questions in the documentationMonitoring equipment to ensure optimal performance to SOPs and addressing any issues and escalating any anomalies or concerns to extraction tech 2 or 3Notifying leads of any quality, machine operation, and material challenges as they occur, as well as fixes performedAttending to other job duties as assigned by managementSkills and qualifications include:Controls and instrumentation experienceEnsure timeliness of return from breaksWork in a fast-paced controlled environmentWork with chemicals, oils, and sharp objectsBe able to lift 50 lbs.1+ year in working with processing quality at TrulieveAble to work under minimum supervisionAble to work under pressureAble to manage changes in working scheduleMust be 21 years of ageMust be able to pass state mandated background screeningA High School DiplomaSAP/Emaint/state mandated system (Metrc, Biotrack, MJ Freeway) entry experience preferredOutstanding communication, documentation, and organizational skillsAdditional minimum qualifications include:Work in close proximity and with cannabis flower and particulates on a daily basisMust be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistanceStrong analytical skills with a focus on safetyMust be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasksMust be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection)Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditionsMust have proven mechanical and problem-solving aptitudeMust be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers and leadershipWorking in an environment with equipment that produces continuous low-level sound (Moderate noise)Work schedule: 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on store needs.
