Paralegal (Commercial Lending and Banking)

About the PositionRick Steiner Fell & Benowitz LLP is seeking a paralegal with experience in lending and bank closings to join our team. This is a full-time, in-office position (not remote) offering significant career-building potential and development opportunities within a respected firm known for its excellence. You will be working closely with attorneys and clients on finance-related transactions, primarily lenders on commercial loans.Responsibilities & Qualifications Maintain closing checklistsMaintaining closing checklists, coordinating closings, preparing signature pages, preparing and reviewing flow of funds memosTrack and manage deadlines and document workflows across multiple active filesOrdering organizational documents and certificates of good standing for appropriate jurisdictionsAbility to review title reports and surveys is a plus.Ideal CandidateAt least three (3) years of relevant experience in real estate, banking or lending. Commercial experience or experience as a bank closer is a plus. Residential experience will be considered as well.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Attention to detailAbility to take initiative and be a self-startedCompensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package and a friendly working environment. The salary range for this position is $70,000-$90,000/yr.
