Job Title: Experienced CookLocation: Martha Cook Dining HallJob Type: Full-TimeSTART DATE: AUGUST 20th, 2025Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals according to our menu. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, following recipes, and ensuring food safety and cleanliness standards are upheld at all times.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook food items in accordance with recipes and quality standards.Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.Ensure proper food storage and sanitation procedures are followed.Assist with inventory counts and rotation of stock (FIFO).Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and high-quality meal preparation.Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role.Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.).Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Culinary school diploma or certification is a plus.Work Schedule:12:00pm-8:30PM Monday - FridayPhysical Requirements:Standing, bending, and moving for extended periods.
