Sr. GCP Cloud EngineerThe role of a Sr. GCP Cloud Engineer is to serve as a technical lead in designing, deploying, and supporting workloads and services throughout their entire lifecycle, including feasibility assessment, cost calculations, initial provisioning, deployment, testing, production cutover, and ongoing support leveraging Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Software as a Service solutions.Knowledge and Skills8+ years of experience.Extensive experience with Google Cloud PlatformStrong system administration (Linux/Unix and/or Windows) at the command-line levelMulti-tier multi-region architectures - load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking.IaC/Terraform as well as config management tool experienceDemonstrated experience implementing enterprise grade software stack utilizing web/client access tier, application tier, and database tierExperience supporting database solutions including BigQuery and CloudSQLNetworking experience, including routing, ports and protocols, VPN, and Dedicated/Partner InterconnectUnderstanding of cloud security best practices including CIS Security BenchmarksClient technology support experienceSkill Matrix TableSkills - Required/Desired - Candidates experience5+ years' experience working as GCP EngineerStrong experience with Google Cloud security best practicesStrong experience with Google Cloud infrastructure implementation experienceProfessional Cloud Architect certification
