This role is responsible for assisting the shop in preparing outgoing shipments by building wooden crates and panels to protect materials during transport.Key Responsibilities : Build wooden crates and custom packaging for outbound shipmentsSafely and securely pack products for shippingMeasure, cut, and assemble crate materialsOperate hand and power tools safely and effectivelyLoad and unload trucks; verify shipping documentsMaintain a clean and organized shipping areaEnsure all shipments meet quality, safety, and delivery standardsQualifications : Experience in carpentry/fabrication rolesAbility to read tape measure and follow simple construction plansComfortable using saws, drills, and other basic toolsPhysically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and safety awarenessDependable, self-motivated, and able to work under minimal supervisionReliable, punctual, and a team playerA pre-employment Drug Screening is required .MEMCO is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
