In this role, you'll design and implement modern web applications using Vue.js on the frontend and Node.js on the backend, contributing to both product development and technical architecture. You will work in a high-autonomy engineering environment where senior developers are expected to take ownership of systems, drive technical decisions, and mentor other engineers. Core Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack features from concept through production
- Develop modern React-based frontend applications with strong performance and usability
- Build scalable backend APIs and services using Node.jsDesign and implement RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
- Improve system reliability, scalability, and maintainability across the platform
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team-wide engineering standards and best practices
- Evaluate and adopt modern development tools, including AI-assisted workflows
- Core Requirements
- Technical Skills5–8+ years of professional software development experience in production environments
- Strong experience building modern Vue.js applications, including Composition API, component architecture, state management (Pinia, Vuex, or similar), and reusable UI patterns
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js and modern backend frameworks (such as Express, NestJS, or Fastify)
- Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript across the stack
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIsExperience working with service-oriented or microservices architectures
- Experience building event-driven or asynchronous application workflows
- Strong proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server), including schema design, indexing, and performance tuning
- Experience working with ORM or query libraries (such as Prisma, TypeORM, Sequelize, or Knex)
- Experience with Redis for caching, session management, pub/sub messaging, or performance optimization
- Ability to design, implement, and ship full-stack features independently
- Cloud & Infrastructure ExperienceExperience deploying and supporting applications in AWS environments
- Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, Lambda, or related cloud-native services
- Experience working with Docker and containerized application development
- Understanding of distributed systems, messaging, and event-driven architectures
