Project Sales Representative - Plumbing

Project Sales Representative – PlumbingLas Vegas, NV - Base salary + Uncapped Commission Position Summary - Responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing customer relationships for commercial and residential plumbing retrofit and mechanical projects. This role focuses on identifying client needs, developing turnkey solutions, preparing estimates and proposals, and driving sales growth through strong technical knowledge and customer engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & SalesGenerate and develop new business opportunities within commercial and residential markets.Build and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, facility managers, property owners, developers, and end users.Conduct prospecting activities including cold calling, networking, lead follow-up, and client meetings.Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and manage quote activity to achieve booking and revenue goals.Deliver professional sales presentations and effectively address customer questions and objections.Identify customer operational, financial, and technical needs to provide customized solutions.Plumbing & Mechanical Systems KnowledgeDevelop a strong understanding of plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems and their operation.Perform site surveys to evaluate existing conditions and identify repair, retrofit, or replacement requirements.Interpret construction drawings, specifications, equipment details, and field conditions.Recommend cost-effective solutions that improve facility performance while reducing long-term operating and maintenance costs.Assist customers in evaluating system performance, operational efficiency, and lifecycle costs.Estimating & Proposal DevelopmentReview plans, specifications, and project documentation to determine project scope and requirements.Prepare accurate estimates including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and project costs.Develop turnkey design-build and retrofit solutions for plumbing and mechanical projects.Create detailed proposals tailored to customer requirements and project objectives.Maintain accurate documentation of customer activity, project tracking, and sales reporting.Coordinate with internal operations and engineering teams to support proposal development and project execution.Customer RelationsServe as a primary point of contact for customers throughout the sales and project development process.Address customer concerns promptly and maintain strong client satisfaction.Build collaborative relationships with vendors, subcontractors, consultants, and industry partners.Represent company interests professionally while supporting profitable project outcomes and long-term partnerships.Time & Territory ManagementPlan and manage daily schedules, appointments, and sales activities to maximize productivity.Prioritize opportunities and aggressively manage quotes through the sales cycle to close business efficiently.Maintain organized records, forecasts, and account activity within CRM systems.QualificationsAssociate degree in Construction Sciences, HVAC, Mechanical Systems, or related field required.Bachelor’s degree preferred.Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems, components, and applications.Experience with estimating, proposal development, and customer relationship management.Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and construction documentation.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software.Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.Proven ability to develop new business and maintain long-term customer relationships.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary with sales incentive opportunities.Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.401(k) with company match.Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays.Paid parental leave.Career growth and advancement opportunities within a collaborative environment.
