Facility and Equipment Maintenance Technician
Key Obsessions:Equipment ReliabilityPerform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on CNC and other manufacturing equipment.Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls system issues quickly and accurately.Calibrate and fine-tune machines to maintain peak precision and performance.Keep tools, parts, and work areas organized and ready to support rapid response.Facility Performance and SafetyMaintain and repair facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, lighting and other building infrastructure.Monitor and document facility conditions to ensure a safe, efficient, and complaint work environment.Follow OSHA guidelines and promote a strong safety culture throughout daily practices and collaboration.Support facility upgrades and improvements that enhance performance and reliability.Continuous Improvement and Maintenance ExcellenceUtilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to implement, log, track, and analyze maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with standards.Identify recurring issues and propose long-term solutions that improve machine uptime and reliability.Stay current on new technologies, maintenance technologies, and equipment advancements to expand skills.Partner with cross-functional teams to improve maintenance processes and overall equipment effectiveness.Knowledge and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED required; Technical certification or associate's degree preferred3 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance and facility managementExperience with or ability to learn CMMS software with provided trainingStrong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systemsAbility to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the timeAbility to lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climbAbility to operate or be trained to operate a forkliftValid driver's license requiredAbility to obtain a DOT health cardBenefits Offered:At Aagard, we believe in investing in you-your health, your career, your financial future, and your well-being.
