Urgent Care Physician - Per Diem

This position is for a physician in a clinical services setting, primarily providing urgent care and emergency medicine services.Responsibilities include examining and treating patients, taking medical histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosing conditions, prescribing medications, treating minor injuries, and educating patients.The role involves supervising Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners remotely, acting as a collaborating physician, and managing up to four PAs/NPs during credentialing.Qualifications include a medical degree from an accredited school, 2-5 years of post-residency experience, board certification or eligibility in Family or Emergency Medicine, and active state licensure. Prior experience in urgent care or emergency medicine is preferred.The position offers flexible shifts of 8 or 12 hours, with an emphasis on strong communication, patient care, and documentation skills.
