Confidential Employer.Job DescriptionLead all day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, billing, and fixed assets.Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with accurate financial reporting.Prepare financial statements, executive dashboards, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.Oversee job costing, project accounting, Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting, and revenue recognition.Partner with Project Managers to monitor project performance, profitability, budgets, and financial risks.Manage cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, working capital, and treasury activities.Oversee billing, collections, accounts receivable, and cash management.Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial compliance.Coordinate audits, tax filings, insurance, bonding, and regulatory reporting.Improve accounting systems, financial reporting, and operational processes.Recruit, mentor, and develop accounting staff while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.Minimum 1+ year of construction or mechanical contracting experience.Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.Experience with job costing and WIP reporting preferred.Experience with Sage Timberline/Sage 300 CRE or similar construction accounting software preferred.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.CPA or CMA preferred but not required.Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.Why You Will Love Working HereYou'll join a collaborative leadership team where your financial expertise directly influences company performance.
