Account Specialist-DRD

Job Description:Support blood drives by registering donors, and actively recruiting donors to give blood. Could be responsible for face-to-face meetings with the blood drive sponsors, attending scheduled blood drives, troubleshooting any potential problems, and ensuring the relationships we have with our current sponsors remain strong to ensure future drives.Job Duties:• Outside sales and service support of blood drive sponsors Plan and implement effective strategies to recruit, retain, manage sponsor organizations and relationships to achieve established blood collection goals. Provide ongoing support to Sponsors and implement appropriate special donor recruitment programs.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, communications or equivalent.• Minimum one-year related experience required.• Combination of related education and experience required.• Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively are required.• A current valid driver's license is required.• Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively implement programs is preferred.• Excellent oral and written communications skills, including training and presentation skills are required.Ideal candidate:• An ideal candidate would be someone with at least 1 year of outside sales, can build solid relationships, manage multiple priorities at the same time, work a flexible schedule and have proven success in a goal attainment environment.Vaccine Mandate:
