Swatch Sampler

Job Description: PFL Services is looking for a candidate that has previous experience with swatch samples. This candidate must have previous fabric cutting experience and knowledge. Job Responsibilities: Learn Fabrics , qualities and lines Cut 1 yard samples and finish edges (staple headers hangers). Cut and roll multiple yardage, sample orders (1 yard 5 yards). Cut 1-yard samples of all qualities for FR testing . Make swatch cards for all new fabrics when requested. Check samples for color/defects/patterns. report defects /problems to weave room. finishing, supervisor. Ship complete orders by UPS with custom papers if needed. Enter sample request for production, new request. Print and complete internet request /customers /sales reps/design . Enter shipping numbers to complete orders on Internet. Assist design department, report problems with new qualities . Pull and complete verbal orders, and submit on internet for tracking. Assist inspection with identifying defects, and resolving problems in weave room / design. Type labels for design presentation, coordinate different request (books, pillows special size swatches). Keep sales reps designs current for presentation. Redo lost or old swatches. Keep inventory current Keep showroom neat and organized. All other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Requires: Previous cutting and/or sewing experience Need to pass a background-Drug test -E-verify Require Interview .
