Job DescriptionJob Title: Temp Billing Coder Location: Tulsa, OK Type: Contract Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Work Model: Onsite Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Security Clearance: Not specifiedResponsibilitiesReview patient charts, records, and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracyAssign accurate medical codes for hospital surgeries and Interventional Radiology servicesEnsure all coding is current, active, and compliant with applicable regulationsIdentify and report missing, incomplete, or insufficient documentationPerform accurate charge entry and coding updatesApply appropriate modifiers and ensure correct coding of provider documentationFollow federal, state, payer, and commercial coding guidelinesMaintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulationsCollaborate with team members to resolve coding discrepancies as neededRequirementsMedical Coding Certification required CPC (Certified Professional Coder) through AAPC requiredMinimum of 2 years of medical coding experienceStrong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and coding regulationsExperience with hospital surgery coding and/or Interventional Radiology coding preferredExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and meet project deadlinesSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
