Catering Sales Coordinator

Description: The Double Tree of Tinton Falls is seeking sales professionals to join our award-winning team as Catering Sales Coordinator. This position assists the Director of Catering Sales with clients in the handling of catering accounts. The Catering Sales Coordinator also focuses on the daily operations of our catering sales department by providing strong sales team administrative support and exceptional guest experience. How to Succeed: Bring energy, enthusiasm, and laser-sharp focus to every client interaction, from first contact to tour(s) and follow-up Demonstrate exemplary communication skills – written, over the phone, and in-person – and a fast, effective response rate Be super organized and computer-savvy Step up to the challenge of selling prospective clients our venue for their event Juggle a wide range of demands in a fast-paced environment Pitch in and help co-workers to support the team Go the extra mile to make clients feel welcome, informed, and cared for Requirements: Minimum of two (2) years sales experience (catering or event planning preferred) Familiar with the hospitality industry (preferred) Willing to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings and weekends Proficient in standard office programs; Word, Excel, Outlook High degree of professionalism and confidentiality Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Takes initiative and is highly responsive. Works well in an energized team environment.
