The Double Tree of Tinton Falls is seeking sales professionals to join our award-winning team as Catering Sales Coordinator. This position assists the Director of Catering Sales with clients in the handling of catering accounts. The Catering Sales Coordinator also focuses on the daily operations of our catering sales department by providing strong sales team administrative support and exceptional guest experience.

Demonstrate exemplary communication skills – written, over the phone, and in-person – and a fast, effective response rate

Step up to the challenge of selling prospective clients our venue for their event
Juggle a wide range of demands in a fast-paced environment
Pitch in and help co-workers to support the team

Requirements:
Minimum of two (2) years sales experience (catering or event planning preferred)
Familiar with the hospitality industry (preferred)
Willing to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings and weekends
Proficient in standard office programs; Word, Excel, Outlook
High degree of professionalism and confidentiality
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Takes initiative and is highly responsive.
Works well in an energized team environment.
