Job Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Patient Transporter to assist in the safe and efficient movement of patients within the healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will ensure patient comfort, safety, and timely transportation between departments.Key Responsibilities:Transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed to various hospital departmentsAssist patients in getting in and out of beds, wheelchairs, and transport equipmentEnsure patient safety and comfort during transportationCommunicate effectively with nurses and medical staff regarding patient movementFollow hospital protocols for hygiene, safety, and patient handlingMaintain cleanliness and readiness of transport equipmentRespond promptly to transport requests and prioritize tasks efficientlyRequired Skills & Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentGood physical stamina and ability to lift/move patients safelyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsBasic understanding of patient care and safety practicesAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare settingBasic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred)Knowledge of hospital procedures and patient handling techniquesKey Traits:Compassionate and patient-focusedResponsible and dependableTeam-orientedAttention to detail
