Communicating with parents and providing updates on children's progress. Providing basic care for children which includes feeding, grooming, and changing diapers. Developing age-appropriate socialization skills in children. Encouraging positive behavior Planning and implementing weekly lesson plans logging daily activities including diapering, feedings, naps, etc. Requirements High school diploma or GED Trainings required: CPR/First aid Certified Must undergo a background check/fingerprint screening Abusive head trauma & SIDS training Intro to Childcare and skills and strategies book courses Health report Coming with the above trainings and certifications is preferred, but will train the right candidate.
