Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker

*Overview* Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Forklift Operator and Warehouse Worker, where your energy and precision will drive our logistics operations forward! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of material handling equipment—including forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo lifts—to efficiently load, unload, and organize inventory. Your expertise in warehouse management and safety protocols will ensure smooth distribution processes while maintaining the highest standards of safety and accuracy. This position offers a chance to be part of a fast-paced environment that values proactive problem-solving and teamwork. *Duties* * Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, Hi-Lo lifts, and other material handling equipment to load and unload shipments. * Conduct inventory management by accurately barcode scanning for logistics and updating warehouse management systems (WMS). * Pick orders using various equipment such as pickers and order pickers to fulfill customer requests efficiently. * Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing deliveries. * Maintain warehouse safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations, forklift safety protocols, manual handling procedures, and heavy equipment operation guidelines. * Perform routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to ensure operational efficiency. * Organize materials within the warehouse using proper stacking techniques and load/unload heavy items with manual handling when necessary. *Experience* * Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, or Hi-Lo lifts in a distribution or warehouse setting. * Strong understanding of warehouse operations including inventory management systems (WMS), shipping & receiving procedures, and barcode scanning for logistics. * Knowledge of safety standards in production environments including OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols. * Prior experience with warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus but not required; familiarity with warehouse management system software is highly desirable. * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail during order picking or load & unload tasks. * Basic math skills for inventory counting and measurement tasks; experience with materials handling equipment operation is essential.
