Senior Executive Director

The role of the Senior Executive Director is to ensure that operations objectives are met to support the day-to-day operations, community’s financial well-being and the care, health and safety of residents across all communities. This is achieved through providing consultation, guidance, and professional expertise to the operations teams. This position is responsible for oversight of all aspects of operations at all locations through the leadership and development of Executive Director, House Managers, Clinicians and front-line staff at each location to accomplish staffing, census, satisfaction and compliance goals. This role will be responsible to carry out the company’s mission, develop an effective strategic plan and ensure the financial viability of the organization.
Must have a history of actively demonstrating Frontida’s culture and exhibiting extraordinary care toward residents. Must be adept at working independently, must be able to prioritize and organize workload. Should be eager to learn, including by accepting and offering feedback. This position requires a sincere dedication to providing support and health services to the elderly and/or disabled populations in a manner that promotes the philosophy and mission of Frontida. Must have an active Driver’s License. Experience as a director and in performance and operations management is preferred. 5 or more years of pervious experience in Senior Living. Must be CBRF trained and certified.
Duties:
The Senior Executive Director will be responsible to lead the team in a manner which maximizes productivity while assuring high quality of care. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Act as a positive representative of the company and sets a strong example of professional conduct and appearance for employees and management staff.
Model and promote the Mission and Values.
Seek education and knowledge for professional growth.
Work with leadership at each location in planning all aspects of Community operations, including setting and routinely reviewing priorities and job assignments.
Responsible for oversight of cleanliness/first impressions of the Communities and grounds.
Implement procedures that ensure the safety of Residents, their visitors, and staff.
Conduct routine inspections of services being provided to ensure the highest quality. Ensure that Dining and Life Enrichment philosophies are met and meeting required standards. Collaborate with Regional Nurse to ensure that Care philosophy is being implemented and meets required standards.
Maintain current knowledge of State Regulations and routinely monitor Community compliance.
Ensure understanding and compliance with all regulations regarding Residents’ rights.
Routinely assist operations at various locations and work in different roles with travel to wherever the need is greatest.
Oversight that each community is running within the established budget.
Routinely monitor labor costs, raw food costs, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions.
Ensure reports are complete and submitted in a timely manner.
Maximize revenue through census development and Resident mix.
Routinely prepare and conduct reviews with building owners to inform on challenges, KPIs and financial performance.
Oversight of all Employee and Resident programs in accordance with policies and company standards.
Ensure programming is effectively managed and marketed.
Collaborate with risk management on matters requiring legal counsel as appropriate.
Assist in developing goals, evaluate performance, provide feedback, assist, coach, and discipline staff as necessary.
Monitor employee morale, provide mentorship and a supportive team environment, and encourage the professional growth of all employees through orientation, training, and ongoing education.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and Company policies.
Ensure caregivers are properly trained and backup personnel are used to cover for people who are ill or absent.
Complete or delegate all team member scheduling; monitor and approve or deny time-off requests, shift change requests, absence or late reports.
Able to manage buildings schedules with Team Bridge, in line with budgets. Working knowledge of Schedulay
Review payroll and timekeeping records ensuring they are complete and accurate prior to submission to HR Manager, including all applicable supporting documentation.
Assists in hiring of all new candidates for employment including the interview and orientation process.
Monitor turnover and recruitment efforts.
Attend interdisciplinary meetings with Ed and community nurse with outside agencies.
Able fill leadership roles in the community during times of vacancy.
Work collaboratively with the Regional Sales Director and Marketing Specialist to develop sales/market campaigns and execution of campaigns for the Community to reach and maintain budgeted occupancy.
Evaluate and understand market trends and competitors’ strengths and weaknesses and successfully position the Community in the marketplace.
Ensure optimum/maximum occupancy, revenue, and profitability for the Community.
Create a culture that emphasizes customer service and relationship building.
Support House manager and Community Relations Coordinator with all phases of the internal sales process: inquiry calls, pre-tour, tour, assessment and post-tour
(closing). Ensure clinical, sales and operations are working as a unit in the community to provide quick turn-around of prospect to increase lead to close ratios.
Effectively perform all phases of the external relationship: building/partnering with referral sources.
Participate in marketing events such as Open Houses, Community Participation Events, and all other Frontida, Inc. events.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with State regulators, the communities at large, families, Residents, ombudsmen, and other professionals on behalf of the Community and the Company.
Actively encourages growth in team members and recommend team members for additional opportunities within the company.

Must be able to travel to the office and work frequently on a computer.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, 30 pounds regularly.
Is free of non-treated communicable disease.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Current Driver’s License
Must pass all applicable background checks and health screens as required by the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services
5+ Years of Senior Living Experience Preferred.
Experience as a director or other similar position.
Experience in performance and operations management.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and quality standards.
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
Must be CBRF trained and certified.
