Full Stack Software Developer, Sr. - USA Remote
About the Role:
Our client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to build and maintain modern web applications using ReactJS, NodeJS, and Microsoft SQL Server. The role involves developing responsive user interfaces, integrating APIs, and creating efficient SQL queries to support application functionality and reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong full stack development experience, sound problem-solving skills, and a focus on code quality, performance, scalability, reliability, and availability. You will collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders throughout the software development process.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop front-end user interfaces using ReactJS and modern JavaScript tooling, including Vite.
Build and maintain client-side applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Develop and integrate server-side services and REST APIs using NodeJS and ExpressJS.Design, write, unit test, and document application code.
Write and optimize Microsoft SQL queries, joins, views, and stored procedures to support application features and reporting.
Prepare reports, requirements, user stories, and design documentation using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Apply problem-solving and software design skills with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and availability.
Participate in software design and architecture discussions to address functional and non-functional requirements.
Collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders, participate in code reviews, and provide feedback.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of software development experience.
Strong proficiency in ReactJS, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and front-end development practices.
Experience with NodeJS and REST API development, preferably using ExpressJS.Advanced SQL skills, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server.
Proficiency in HTML and CSS for responsive and accessible development.
Proficiency with Git and modern source control workflows.
Experience working in a Microsoft Windows development environment.
U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Position of Public Trust – Medium Background Investigation.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Vite or similar tooling for React development.
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance APIs.
Knowledge of automated testing practices and performance optimization.
Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Entra.
Familiarity with healthcare or insurance domains and related data standards.
Location and Work Arrangement
Work arrangement:
Remote. Employment basis: W-2 only. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a W-2 basis.
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly rate:
$60–$70 per hour (W-2).Benefits for W-2 consultants include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company matching, and life insurance.
