Forklift Operator/ Delivery driver

Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator/Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves operating heavy equipment, managing warehouse logistics, and delivering materials efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse distribution, order picking, and heavy equipment operation, with a focus on safety and accuracy. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and during deliveries Load and unload delivery trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Assist in inventory management, including materials handling and stock organization Conduct routine maintenance checks on heavy equipment and report any mechanical issues Support warehouse management in coordinating shipments, deliveries, and storage activities Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to various locations as required Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles Proficiency with forklift operation, crane handling, and heavy equipment operation Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting basic equipment issues Knowledge of OSHA safety standards for warehouse and heavy equipment operation Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Experience with materials handling tools such as pallet jacks and clamp trucks Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and inventory management Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for delivery responsibilities This position is essential for maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring timely deliveries.
