Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Administrative Assistant I to support a busy team environment. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their administrative career who enjoys staying organized, multitasking, and supporting day-to-day business operations. The ideal candidate is professional, motivated, and comfortable handling a high volume of detailed work while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Responsibilities Provide administrative and clerical support to a department or team of professionals Prepare letters, memos, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other business documents Compile, review, and organize information for reports and presentations Maintain business records, files, and confidential documentation Manage calendars, appointments, and scheduling needs Sort and distribute incoming mail and assist with outgoing correspondence Assist with purchase orders, expense reports, invoices, and billing support Coordinate travel arrangements and meeting logistics as needed Prepare and verify weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports Respond to routine inquiries and communications in a professional manner Support general office operations and additional administrative projects as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 0–3 years of administrative, clerical, or office support experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Comfortable handling confidential information with professionalism Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Typing speed of at least 60 WPM required Experience in legal, finance, healthcare, or corporate office environments is a plus Ideal Candidate Reliable, organized, and proactive Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable professional experience while building your administrative and operational skill set within a supportive team environment.
