Energy Services Technician

Position OverviewThis role is crucial for helping our clients optimize their HVAC systems for peak performance and energy efficiency. You'll perform a variety of tasks, from routine maintenance and diagnostics to complex system upgrades and commissioning. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, a keen eye for detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.This role will start out with an hourly pay rate of $37.14/hr. This role also comes with additional bonus potential, guaranteed yearly pay increases, guaranteed 40-hour work weeks, overtime opportunity (paid at time and a half), and great benefits, including a 401(K)-retirement package with company matching, vacation days, holiday pay, and much more!AboutListen to a HomeServe Technician speak about his experience with the company and why you should consider a career with us by copying and pasting the link below into your web browser:https://youtu.be/-idace4hM20ResponsibilitiesResponsible for servicing and repairing customer heating, air conditioning and other equipment used in residential and commercial applications.Responsible for the installation of necessary equipment parts.Responsible for communicating with the customer and where possible resolving customer problems.Responsible for providing technical support and coordination during the installation, servicing and repairing of equipment.Responsible for ensuring customer needs are satisfied in a cost-effective manner without direct supervision.Responsible for maintaining vehicle inventory and stock.Responsible for maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times.Responsible for selling and supporting Company goals with day-to-day efforts.Job RequirementsGeneral knowledge of electrical wiring of Furnaces, Boilers and Air-Conditioning systems. - Ability to fabricate miscellaneous sheet-metal transitions.Ability to remove Domestic Hot Water Heaters, Furnaces, Coils, Condensers and Boilers with minimal damage.Ability to perform a complete installation of Domestic Hot Water Heaters, Furnaces, Coils, Condensers and Boilers.Ability to perform part replacement installations.Ability to install/repair gas piping, water piping, near boiler piping and the sweating of copper piping.General knowledge and understanding on the sequence of operation regarding Domestic Hot Water heaters, Furnaces, Coils, Condensers and Boilers to perform routine maintenance.Minimum requirement is a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)In Return We OfferUnion position Competitive compensation Guaranteed 40 hour work weeks Guaranteed yearly pay increases Yearly bonus potential Other bonus opportunities Company take home van; gas card and maintenance provided Tools and uniforms provided Excellent benefits including generous medical, vision, dental and life & disability insurance 401(k) plan with a company match Your choice of 2 company provided home warranties (for homeowners).
