Basic QualificationsActive development of new mechanical design engineering principles and full demonstrated knowledge of industry practices and related disciplinesKnowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing in accordance with ASME Y14.5 and demonstrated perform complex system-level tolerance analysis.Minimum 5 years experience with Creo or similar 3D computer-aided design softwareHave the ability to generate engineering drawings, documents, parts lists and specificationsHave the ability to guide major projects to completion and engage with senior personnel on significant matters, including multi-functional and multi-site teamsHave the ability to lead investigative efforts and report status to senior personnelExperience designing metallic and composite detail parts and assembliesJob DescriptionYou will be the ARRW Mechanical Design Engineer Staff for the Missiles & Fire Control – ARRW Program. Our team is developing the first hypersonic missile to enter low rate production.What You Will Be DoingAs the Mechanical Engineer for the Booster/All Up Round (AUR) you will be the primary mechanical engineering point of contact for ARRW LRIP and ARRW Incremental development. You will work closely with Glider mechanical engineering, AUR electrical engineering, and systems engineering to translate requirements into releasable technical data packages (TDPs). Your responsibilities will include: Developing and generating CREO layouts and detailed drawings for ICDs, components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and integration test articles Building BOMs, creating parts, assemblies, and design documentation within Windchill PLM Coordinating the IPT team, suppliers, GSC, electronic packaging, optics, and structural/thermal/material analysts to ensure design excellence, including occasional travel for site visits and field demonstrations Managing drawing releases, responding to CRs, generating CN's, and presenting/supporting change boards and design reviews Participate in root cause and corrective actions Supporting transition from development to low rate production, ensuring seamless hand offWhy Join UsDo you want to be part of a company culture that empowers employees to think big, lead with a growth mindset, and make the impossible a reality?
