Role Overview An experienced Senior AI Test Engineer is sought to drive quality engineering for an AI-enabled self-service identity platform. This is a hands-on senior role with accountability for test strategy, automation architecture, and quality outcomes across complex, distributed systems. As a senior member of the QA discipline, you will own end-to-end testing across the UI and API, influence engineering best practices, and serve as a trusted quality partner to product and development teams. Key Responsibilities Own and drive the overall test strategy, including functional, integration, API, and UI testing. Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks for UI and API test automation. Serve as a senior individual contributor responsible for hands-on automation and targeted manual testing. Integrate automated functional tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions. Validate AI-driven capabilities, including data quality, model output behavior, and optional testing of AI chatbots. Collaborate with developers and product owners to ensure testability and well-defined acceptance criteria. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and offshore QA engineers. Collaborate effectively with offshore teams to ensure consistent quality standards and execution. Proactively identify and mitigate quality and performance risks prior to production release. Required Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of professional software testing experience with complex, web-based applications. Proven experience as a senior individual contributor, with strong hands-on experience in manual testing and advanced test automation. Hands-on experience with Playwright or equivalent modern frameworks is required. Experience with Selenium WebDriver, BDD principles using Gherkin, CI/CD pipeline integration, and Git-based version control is also necessary. Technical Skills: Strong programming skills in C#. Demonstrated expertise in UI and API test automation. A deep understanding of functional, integration, system, end-to-end, and non-functional testing is required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across a matrixed organization are essential. Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience is required.
