In this hands-on role, you will operate industrial trucks such as forklifts and reach trucks to move, stack, load, and unload materials. If you're safety-conscious and have solid experience handling heavy materials, this is the job for you. Forklift Operator Highlights:Location: Ladson, SCSchedule: 8-hour shifts; 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts availablePay: $18.75 (plus shift diff for 2nd and 3rd shift)Environment: Warehouse/industrial setting Job Purpose: Operate a powered industrial truck to transport materials from loading dock to designated location. Responsibilities:Know and follow standard work procedures and safety rules for all tasks assigned.Daily inspection and documentation of equipmentInspect product for damage, properly scan by machine or manual entry to ensure safe transport and proper placementMove controls to drive propane or electric-powered trucks and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.Mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, platforms, or other transport vehicles.Other duties as required. RequirementsWear Personal Protective Equipment at all timesPass mandatory drug screenOperator's license visible at all timesComplete training and company certification requirements for the equipmentMust be able to pass a background checkMust be able to lift 50 pounds on a occasional basis for general purpose of restack to productMust be able to walk up to a mile to job site.
