The goal of the Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin VISTA Program is to build a better Wisconsin by assisting local organizations to increase the capacity and sustainability of programs focused on alleviating poverty. Project objectives: 1) RESIDENT ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMMING: Increase resident engagement and access to supportive services through developing events. 2) MILWAUKEE PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT: Plan and implement a grant-funded initiative to support individuals with disabilities at a site in Milwaukee, focused on advancing education, expanding access to the arts, fostering leadership within marginalized communities, and enhancing the health of older adults. 3) ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY: Build organizational capacity through outreach, communications, and resource development.
