This role involves collaborating with the oncology team to manage daily caseloads efficiently within a busy hospital setting. Responsibilities: Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to prescribed protocols. Operate linear accelerators, perform CT simulations, and utilize Aria and Vision systems. Maintain accurate documentation through paper and digital charting systems. Monitor patient responses and ensure safety standards are consistently met. Collaborate with oncology team members to coordinate care and adjust treatments as necessary. Comply with all radiation safety regulations and maintain required certifications. Qualifications: Hold ARRT(T) certification and a valid South Carolina RN license or eligible pending license. Possess at least 1 year of clinical experience in radiation therapy or a related setting. Demonstrate proficiency operating linear accelerators and performing CT simulations. Maintain current BLS certification and radiation badge as required. Ability to work 5x8 shifts Monday through Friday, with flexibility for early shifts if needed. Exhibit strong attention to detail, patient care skills, and team collaboration capabilities.
