Job DescriptionOutpatient Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician (MD/DO) - Non-InterventionalLocation: Jersey City, NJEmployment Type: Full-TimeSchedule: Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PMPosition OverviewWe are seeking a Board-Certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician (Physiatrist) for a full-time, outpatient-focused practice. This is a non-interventional role centered on conservative management, functional rehabilitation, and patient-centered care.The ideal candidate is experienced in outpatient rehabilitation and committed to improving patients' functional outcomes through collaborative, multidisciplinary care.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and manage patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional impairmentsDevelop and implement conservative, non-surgical, non-interventional treatment plansCoordinate care with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other rehabilitation professionalsMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordinglyProvide patient education on injury prevention, functional recovery, and lifestyle modificationsMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMRParticipate in multidisciplinary team meetings and care planningQualifications & RequirementsMD or DO degree from an accredited medical schoolCompleted residency training in Physical Medicine & RehabilitationBoard Certified in PM&RActive New Jersey medical licenseMinimum 2 years of experience (new graduates not eligible)Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered careAbility to work collaboratively in an outpatient settingPreferred QualificationsExperience in outpatient rehabilitation or musculoskeletal careInterest in functional medicine, sports rehabilitation, or non-procedural chronic pain managementFamiliarity with EMR systemsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation based on experienceHealth insurance (eligible after 90 days)401(k) planPaid Time Off: 2 weeks after 90 days (no increase until 1-year mark)No weekends and no on-call responsibilities
