The Dishwasher at Ground Market supports both the wood-fired kitchen and service team by ensuring all cookware, tools, and serviceware are clean, stocked, and ready for use in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.Duties/ResponsibilitiesWash dishes, glassware, utensils, sheet pans, and kitchen equipment in a timely and organized mannerMaintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area, kitchen, and storage spacesKeep up with the flow of service to ensure the kitchen has the tools it needs at all timesAssist with basic kitchen prep tasks, including food preparation and pantry support, as directedSupport front-of-house as needed, including occasional table bussing and maintaining dining areasAssist with general cleaning tasks throughout the kitchen, including floors, surfaces, and equipmentRemove trash, compost, and recycling and transport to appropriate receptaclesSupport the team with additional tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothlyRequirementsRequired Skills/Abilities: Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to cleanliness and sanitation standardsTeam-oriented mindset and willingness to jump in where neededAbility to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 50 poundsFlexibility to work under pressure during busy service timesValid State Food Handler’s LicensePhysical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 50 poundsEducation and Experience:Previous restaurant or foodservice experience preferred, but not requiredBenefits: Benefits include PTO, health, vision, dental, life insurance, 401(k) for qualifying employees.Employee perks: 20% discount at Ground entities (includes Ground Market, Grounded Table, The Pub, Grounded Body)About The GroundThe Ground is a hospitality business based in beautiful Willamette Valley that exists to realize human potential in harmony with the planet.
