Job Title:Accounts Payable & Accounting Specialist (QuickBooks Transition)Company:LCMC Management CompanyLocation:Granbury, TX area (in-office / hybrid depending on experience)About the RoleWe’re not a typical accounting environment—and we’re not looking for a typical accountant.LCMC Management Company supports a growing group of convenience stores and related entities across Texas. We’re in the middle of transitioning from Microsoft Dynamics GP to QuickBooks and need someone who can step in, take ownership of Accounts Payable, and help bring structure to a fast-moving, multi-entity operation.This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working through imperfect processes, can think independently, and isn’t afraid to ask questions or fix what’s broken.What You’ll Be DoingOwn the full Accounts Payable cycle across multiple entitiesProcess high-volume vendor invoices (fuel, retail, services, construction-related)Match, code, and enter invoicesAssist with transition from Great Plains to QuickBooksHelp clean up and standardize vendor records and processesWork directly with management on resolving discrepancies and improving workflowsSupport month-end close (AP reconciliations, vendor balances, reporting support)What We’re Looking ForHands-on QuickBooks experience (non-negotiable)Strong Accounts Payable backgroundComfortable working across multiple companies/entitiesDetail-oriented but able to move quicklyAble to manage vendors and follow through on open itemsNot easily overwhelmed by volume or moving partsNice to Have (but not required)Experience in convenience stores, fuel, or retail environmentsExperience with POS-integrated accounting systemsExposure to construction or project-based accountingWhy This Role is DifferentYou’ll actually have input on how things are built—not just follow a processDirect access to leadership (no layers of bureaucracy)Opportunity to grow with a management company that is still being shapedCompensationCompetitive and based on experienceHow to ApplyApply here or send a message directly—we’re looking to move quickly for the right person.
