OverviewLutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate opening for a HR Business Partner in our Austin Manufacturing Facility. In this position, you would be a key part of the Human Resource team.Your contributions will be instrumental in driving the success of our organization through effective HR programs and initiatives. You will partner with both business and Human Resources leadership to execute HR programs and put plans in place that will support both our current and future employee needs. A successful HR Business Partner will … ….ResponsibilitiesWork with our Austin leadership team to anticipate the needs of the organization and execute HR programs such as:Attracting and retaining exceptional people Overseeing the execution of onboarding for new employeesProviding day-to-day performance management guidance to management team (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) Coordinating and performing all HRIS and benefit processesIdentifying training needs and partnering with the learning organization to successfully execute programsEnsuring job rotations for development and learning Partnering with leaders to ensure compensation and performance management programs are properly executed Drive innovative retention strategiesApply your proven communication skills to effectively coordinate and present HR updates to team members and key stakeholdersQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology or related fieldMinimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for all degrees earned.8+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing facility or distribution centerHR certification preferredProven understanding of HR principles and practicesExperience collaboratively driving projects with cross-functional teamsExperience working effectively in a matrix organizationLutron Electronics position as the leading manufacturer of lighting controls worldwide, our unsurpassed quality, the breadth and depth of our product offerings, and our commitment to servicing our worldwide customers have resulted in strong sales and profitability growth year over year.
