SRE Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an SRE Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role focuses on ensuring system reliability and uptime for critical applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and automating operational tasks to improve system performance, scalability, and availability while supporting CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities:Monitor applications and infrastructure to ensure system reliability and uptimeTroubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysisAutomate operational tasks using scripts or toolsImprove system performance, scalability, and availabilitySupport deployments and maintain CI/CD pipelinesWork with development teams to ensure applications are production-readyImplement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutionsRequirements:Linux/Unix system administrationScripting or programming (Python, Bash, Go, or Java)Cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, or Microsoft AzureContainer tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as KubernetesMonitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or SplunkPay range: $60.42 - $68.42 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
