Our manufacturing & distribution facilities are located strategically throughout the United States to provide our retail partners with the highest quality products and optimized service levels.We have an outstanding opportunity for a plant Controller to join our team in our flagship Reynolds, IN facility. In this newly created role, the plant controller will be a key member of the site management team and will partner closely with other leaders to improve cost analysis, decision making, and processes within the facility. Reporting to the VP, Finance, the plant controller will work on-site to drive a culture of data driven accountability and will have strong influence within operations as they develop reporting and metrics to properly guide the business and drive margin improvements.Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other aspects may be assigned:Cost AccountingMonitor and analyze manufacturing costs (materials, labor, overhead)Maintain standard costs and update them regularlyPerform variance analysis (actual vs. standard costs)Analyze inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS)Support capital expenditure analysis including tracking of savings after project completion.Financial ReportingDevelop daily/weekly/monthly KPI reportingSupport plant-level profit and loss (P&L) statementsEnsure compliance with accounting standards (like GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles))Assist with corporate reporting requirementsInventory ManagementTrack raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goodsReconcile inventory accounts and investigate discrepanciesOversee physical inventory counts and cycle countsBudgeting & ForecastingDevelop OH spending budgets and forecastsMonitor spending and compare against budgetSupport the capital expenditure budgeting processProvide financial insights to improve cost efficiencyInternal Controls & ComplianceEnsure adherence to company policies and financial controlsSupport audits (internal and external)Identify and mitigate financial risksRequired Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.2-5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing preferred)Strong knowledge of cost accounting principlesProficiency in ERP systems and experience with RedZone and PowerBI a plusStrong organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, and OutlookAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detailStrong communication and collaboration abilitiesUnderstanding of manufacturing processesFamiliarity with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma concepts a plusWork Environment:On-site at the Reynolds, IN FacilityRegular walking of the production and warehouse operations will be requiredThe ideal candidate will be self-motivated and team orientedGlobal Harvest Foods provides an excellent compensation and benefits packageFor immediate consideration, please send your resume and cover letterEqual Opportunity Employer
