Job SummaryEquinix Global Events is seeking a highly experienced event content manager to join our award-winning team. The event content manager is responsible for leading the overall strategy and seamless execution of our Tier 1 Tradeshows. Serving as the primary liaison between internal teams and external show management, this position drives the planning process as the expert in tradeshow sponsorships, exhibit execution and affiliated events. This position will partner with the Marketing Manager and other stakeholders to advise on activations that align with the show objectives and will provide regular communications to keep the core planning team on course. This role manages the end-to-end tradeshow experience to include complex timelines, budgets, and deliverables while producing world-class events that reflect industry trends and embody the values of Equinix. While this role is focused on tradeshows, the Global Events team also leads the planning and execution of other company events including internal executive off-site meetings, global sales meetings, and customer events, which you may be tasked to support.ResponsibilitiesResearch and advise on event sponsorships, speaking opportunities, and brand activations that align with business goalsCollaborate with event stakeholders to set the event strategy including objectives, key messaging, and vision for the eventPropose and design exhibit booth layouts and floor plans to meet the show goals and objectivesCollaborate with the design and creative services teams to produce custom branding assetsEdit, proofread, and improve content messaging as neededDrive the planning process including owning the complete tradeshow overviewEstablish and maintain planning milestones, timelines, and communications frameworks to align cross-functional teamsAnalyze attendee feedback to generate ideas that improve the overall experienceCollaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver work on time and within budgetMaintain and manage milestones with cross-team dependencies in AirTable and SmartsheetQualificationsBachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience in corporate event management, including significant focus on trade show managementAbility to learn and effectively use project management and collaboration tools including AirTable, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams and SharepointStrong financial and project management skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication abilitiesAbility to manage competing priorities with poise and professionalismWillingness and ability to travel up to 50%CompensationAnnual base salary ranges from $103,000 to $155,000 U.S. dollars, with potential for bonus and equity based on role and location. Pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
