We offer a career trajectory few others can match, with opportunities to take on roles and projects aligned with your skills and interests.In addition, we offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package including:Competitive salary401K retirement planPaid time off and paid holidaysTuition reimbursementMedical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other insurance optionsPaid overtimeFlexible work scheduleEmployees working in Ripon have a short commute from Osh Kosh, Appleton, and Fond du Lac, and will enjoy professional growth and community engagement through our regional presence in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota and South Dakota.ESTIMATED PAY RANGEEngineer I: $72,000 - $84,000Engineer II: $80,000 - $92,000Engineer III: $90,000 - $102,000Senior Engineer: $97,000 - $112,000Final compensation is based on experience, skills, and alignment with role expectationsJOB SUMMARYAs a Process Engineer in Ripon, WI, you will:Analyze manufacturing equipment, workflows, and processes to improve safety, quality, throughput, and cost efficiencyImplement process improvements, update operational standards, and support Lean and continuous improvement initiativesSelect, validate, and implement manufacturing processes that reduce production costs and increase reliabilityEvaluate vendor proposals and support new equipment specification, justification, and installationPartner with production and maintenance teams to ensure equipment operates at like‑new performanceConduct capability studies, time studies, and process development activities, including visual work instructionsProvide daily production support, troubleshoot process issues, and reduce scrap, rework, and cycle timeSpecify and develop tooling, jigs, and fixtures; coordinate engineering projects and participate in Kaizen eventsCollaborate with suppliers and Applied partners across northern Wisconsin to strengthen manufacturing performanceSupport projects that impact communities in Ripon, Appleton, Oshkosh, and surrounding areasContribute to a dynamic environment that values ownership, innovation, and hands‑on problem solvingQUALIFICATIONSBachelor of Science degree required in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering4+ years of engineering experience in a metal manufacturing or production environment preferred; internships and co‑ops may count toward experienceStrong background in Lean manufacturing, capability studies, process mapping, FMEA, and root cause analysisProven experience supporting production, troubleshooting process issues, and driving measurable improvements in safety, quality, and throughputAbility to evaluate equipment proposals, justify capital investments, and implement new or optimized manufacturing processesCreo and/or AutoCAD experience strongly preferred; additional CAD or modeling tools a plusExperience developing work instructions, tooling specifications, and detailed process documentationSKILLS AND VALUESCapable of working independently and as a team memberStrong work ethic and unwavering integrityExcellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindsetCuriosity, problem solving, and analytical thinkingEffective verbal and written communicationDesire to work on a variety of projectsADDITIONAL INFORMATIONPlease consider joining Applied's team of talented employees in Ripon and the greater OshKosh metropolitan area.Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
