Job Summary and Responsibilities This is a Regional Float RN opportunity for Cath Lab/IR across Immanuel, Lakeside, CUMC-Bergan Mercy and Mercy (Council Bluffs) facilities, offering a 25% hourly differential. Cath Lab (and IR) Registered Nurse responsible for the full spectrum of patient care - from assessing and planning to implementing and evaluating. This means: Pre-Procedure: Thorough patient assessment, developing individualized care plans, and ensuring preparedness. Intra-Procedure: Monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating closely with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes during interventions. Post-Procedure: Providing compassionate care, administering treatments, educating patients/families, and meticulous documentation of the entire nursing process. Job Requirements Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact. Basic Life Support (BLS) required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 5 months of hire 12-18 months experience preferred Additional certification or licensure may be required for some specialty areas.
