Multifamily / Building Inspector

Title: HUD / Multifamily Housing InspectorJob Type: Full-time, Part-time, 1099We are currently seeking qualified inspectors to perform Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspections for senior living and multifamily housing properties. We are hiring 10 part-time and 2 full-time candidates for this role.Important: This is not a home inspector position. We are specifically seeking candidates with experience in HUD, multifamily, or comparable inspection environments.Responsibilities:Schedule and conduct on-site inspections for new construction and substantial rehabilitation projects under OHP guidelinesEvaluate units and properties for compliance with HUD Housing Quality Standards (HQS)Complete detailed inspection reports and documentation in accordance with HUD, OHP, and company requirementsCommunicate findings clearly and professionally with stakeholdersQualifications:Experience in multifamily housing inspections is strongly preferredWe will also consider candidates with other relevant inspection experience (e.g., building, code compliance, government inspections)Background in HUD, REAC, NSPIRE, UPCS, building inspection, or related fields is highly desirableMinimum of 2 years of experience performing inspections for HUD or other government/local agencies preferredWillingness to travel for inspectionsValid driver’s license and reliable transportationWho Should Apply:We encourage applications from experienced:HUD InspectorsMultifamily Housing InspectorsBuilding / Code InspectorsREAC / NSPIRE InspectorsCombination (Combinator) InspectorsGovernment or municipal inspectors with relevant experienceCompensation & Benefits:$35 – $50 per hour, based on experience and qualificationsFlexible work arrangements (full-time, part-time, 1099 options available)Compensation negotiable based on expertise
