Mechanical EngineerPosition OverviewWe are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, analyze, and deliver mechanical systems for commercial and industrial projects. The role focuses on developing robust mechanical solutions with close coordination with electrical systems, supporting project delivery from concept through commissioning, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The successful candidate must hold EIT certification and demonstrate experience with electrical systems integration.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop mechanical system designs for HVAC, piping, ductwork and related equipment, including calculations, sizing and selection of components.Produce and review P&IDs, HVAC flow diagrams and equipment layout drawings to support project requirements.Create and update detailed models and drawings using Revit and AutoCAD; develop ductwork/piping routing plans and equipment layouts.Coordinate mechanical designs with electrical systems and other disciplines to ensure integrated project solutions and resolve interface issues.Prepare specifications, equipment lists, and procurement support documentation; review vendor drawings and submittals.Perform site visits, surveys and commissioning support; address field issues and implement design changes as required.Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements; perform design checks and quality control reviews.Provide technical support during construction, facilitate communication with contractors, and assist with troubleshooting.Document design decisions, prepare technical reports and present findings to project teams and clients.Mentor junior engineers and support development of engineering deliverables and project schedules.QualificationsBachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required.Proven experience working with electrical systems and coordinating mechanical-electrical interfaces.Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, HVAC systems, piping systems and equipment selection.Proficiency with mechanical design software and drafting tools; experience with AutoCAD and Revit preferred.Experience creating and interpreting P&IDs, HVAC flow diagrams, equipment layouts and ductwork/piping routing plans.Familiarity with mechanical design packages and standards, and experience conducting design calculations and code compliance checks.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities within project timelines.Prior experience in project-based engineering roles and experience supporting construction and commissioning activities is preferred.BenefitsBenefits:90% employer paid healthcare for the entire family. 100% employer paid dental.3 weeks annual paid vacation to start.1 week annual paid sick leave12 paid holidaysRetirement Plan - IRA + 3% matchAnnual reviews with merit raises based on performance.Quarterly production bonuses Email Your Resume In Word ToJason.Styczen@CyberCoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
