The role involves engine dynamometer testing, test cell setup, data analysis, performance evaluation, and troubleshooting.ResponsibilitiesPerform engine testing using dynamometer (dyno) systems.Set up and operate engine test benches and instrumentation.Ensure safe and efficient test execution.Collect, process, and analyze engine test data.Support engine durability, thermal, and NVH validation activities.Generate test reports and performance insights.Support calibration and tuning activities based on test results.Evaluate engine performance including power, torque, efficiency, and emissions.Perform carbon balance calculations for fuel efficiency and emissions analysis.Apply engine operation and combustion fundamentals to interpret test results.Troubleshoot engine and test-related issues.QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.2–3 years of automotive experience, preferably in engine/transmission testing.Hands-on experience with engine dynamometer testing and engine test cell setup/execution.Strong understanding of IC engine principles, combustion, carbon balance, emissions, and engine performance metrics.Experience with data acquisition and engine test data analysis tools.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and reporting skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, presentations, and project tracking.abdul.malik@gctus.com | +1 248-522-7039
