As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic Front of House Shift Lead to assist in the daily operations of our restaurant.Job Summary:The Front of House Shift Lead is responsible for assisting front-of-house operations during their assigned shift, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and team performance. This role requires experience with duties such as customer service, operations, team development, cash handling and teamwork. This position works closely with the back-of-house team and management to ensure smooth service and that we consistently exceed guest expectations.Key Responsibilities:Customer ServiceGreet guests with enthusiasm and ensure an exceptional hospitality experienceAct as the first point of contact for guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionallyEnsure all orders are accurate and delivered in a timely mannerGo above and beyond to create memorable guest experiencesOperationsOversee shift flow, ensuring proper staffing coverage and efficient serviceMaintain organization and cleanliness of the front-of-house area throughout the shiftEnsure all cleaning procedures, schedules, and checklists are completedFollow and enforce all food handling procedures and safety standardsCommunicate effectively with back-of-house team members to ensure seamless serviceTeam DevelopmentModel exceptional hospitality and professionalism at all timesProvide real-time feedback and direction to ensure service standards are metAssist with training new team members on policies, procedures, and service expectationsFoster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environmentCash HandlingOversee register operations and ensure accurate and efficient guest checkoutsMonitor cash drawer accuracy and ensure all cash handling procedures are followedAssist with opening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation when requiredTeamworkCollaborate with management and back-of-house teams to deliver a best-in-class guest experienceSupport company initiatives and help achieve the goal of being every guest's "Favorite Neighborhood Pizza Shop"Step into service positions as needed to support the team during peak periodsQualifications:Previous front-of-house or hospitality experience requiredFriendly, outgoing, and professional demeanorAbility to lead by example and motivate a teamStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work a flexible scheduleAvailability on weekends and holidaysStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsPositive attitude and willingness to learnAbility to take direction and provide directionExcellent communication skillsPreferred Skills:Leadership experience preferredExperience with Square POSBi-lingual (English/Spanish)Benefits:Hourly rate + TipsWeekly payrollHealth, dental, and vision insurance - Kaiser Permanente and Delta Dental & VisionMinimum 30 hours worked per week for eligibilityEligible after 30 days of employment401(k) plan with a 4% company matchEligibility after 1 year of employmentAccrued PTO/Sick Leave80 hours per year maximumEmployee discounts on food and beveragesOpportunities for growth and advancement within the company
