A healthcare system in California is currently a licensed Physician, with a Family and/or Internal Medicine background, for a promisingopportunity at one of their facilities in Los Angeles.About the Opportunity:Start Date: ASAPAssignment Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire potential)Specialty:Family / Internal MedicinePatient Population:All agesPatient Volume: 20 per dayEMR: ECWResponsibilities:The Family / Internal Medicine Physician will be responsible for;Examiningand diagnosingpatients for treatment or evaluative purposesWorkingcollaboratively with Physicians, staff and administration to improve clinical outcomes and quality of care.Ensuringthat the delivery of care is efficient and effectiveConsultingwith other Physicians, Specialist and Para-professional personnel regarding care of patients and medical diagnosticsSupervisingand reviewingthe care provided by mid-level providers and studentsConductingspecialized research, special studies and services upon appropriate approvalAssisting in the administrative responsibilities for budget preparation procuring and evaluating equipment and suppliesPerforming other duties, as neededQualifications:5 years of experience in a Primary Care and/or OBGYN environmentLicensed to practice medicine in the State of CaliforniaBoard Certified / Eligible in Family and/or InternalMedicineFamiliarity with E-Clinical WorksSolid assessment, clinical, and documentation skillsGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communicationskills (written and verbal)Your privacy is important to us.
