Human Resources (HR) Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join an onsite team in Pennsylvania. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting day-to-day HR operations, keeping records organized, and providing a high level of service to employees and candidates. The position offers a mix of administrative coordination, document preparation, interview scheduling, and spreadsheet-based tracking while contributing to special projects across the HR function.Responsibilities:• Maintain and organize personnel files and HR records to support accurate documentation and easy retrieval of information.• Draft employment-related letters and other routine correspondence with professionalism and attention to detail.• Coordinate interview logistics by scheduling meetings, confirming availability, and communicating with candidates and hiring teams.• Update and manage spreadsheets used for tracking HR activity, staffing progress, and other departmental data.• Assist with onboarding tasks, including preparing documentation and helping ensure pre-employment steps are completed on time.• Support background screening and related compliance processes in accordance with role requirements.• Provide responsive administrative support to the HR team while helping employees and applicants with general questions.• Contribute to special projects and other departmental assignments as business needs evolve.• At least 3 years of experience in human resources support or administrative work within an HR environment.• Working knowledge of HR administration, employee onboarding, and employee relations support.• Experience using HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate employee information in electronic systems.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills for tracking and reporting purposes.• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.• Comfortable managing multiple priorities, learning new processes quickly, and staying organized in a fast-paced setting.• Ability to work onsite in Norristown, Pennsylvania.• Willingness to complete required pre-employment screenings, including background-related checks and a TB test.TalentMatch®Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
