Please see our Conn Selmer website (www.connselmer.com) for more information about who we are.The Export Processor will report to the Director of Customer Service and is responsible for receiving and processing orders for assigned territory(s) promptly and accurately according to policies in place, in addition to coordinating all export customer shipments from order release to departure. This role will also be responsible for generating essential shipping documents to ensure effective transportation of products to international customers and be a liaison for internal customer engagement reps, floor operators, and international logistics providersResponsibilitiesPlan shipments according to customer request and product availability, maintenance within ship scheduling tools in Conn-Selmer’s ERP SystemSupport and Manage Dealer/Distributor Relationships within assigned territory. Including all claims, disputes, and inquiries.Coordinates shipping efforts for export distribution with a high level of accuracy and delivery performance with high variability in workload. Exceed customer expectations.Generate international shipping documents within ERP system when applicable, including CI, LOI, COO, PL, and BOL.Work effectively with internal and external customers to meet shipping scheduleGenerate all invoices the day of shipmentInterface with ship scheduling team and apply shipment processesAssist in coordination of freight consolidation sitesCoordinate return shipmentsAssist with administrative functions such as filing, coding bills and invoicingServe as back-up for Order Management Lead-Export when they are out of officeComply with all Conn-Selmer policies & proceduresMaintain a clean and orderly work areaOther duties as assignedRequirementsPrior experience in a distribution environment coordinating export shipments, customs documentation, and Harmonized Codes.Proficiency in computer systems such as Word, Excel, AS400 Mapics, Power Link, and D365Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of variability in work load.Must have exceptional verbal and written c ommunication skills, and be deadline sensitive to insure highest level of customer satisfaction.Ability to work in a team environment with multiple facilities and levels within the organization.Requires long periods of sedentary workRepetitive upper body movement-keyboard and monitor useVisual and hearing acuity
