The firm is deeply committed to integrating with client teams to provide strategic scaling, executive oversight, and support for long-term exit strategies.Role Description The Controller role is a client delivery role and is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, with a mix of on-site client engagement and work-from-home flexibility. This role oversees day-to-day financial operations for multiple SMB clients, including managing general ledgers, month-end close, cash flow, and working capital. The position is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, developing and maintaining forecasting models, and supporting budgeting and variance analysis. The Controller collaborates closely with Fractional CFOs to implement financial controls, improve processes, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The role also involves partnering with client leadership teams to interpret financial results, support strategic decisions, and coordinate with operations, supply chain, and marketing stakeholders to align financial performance with growth objectives.QualificationsStrong finance and accounting skills, including experience with financial reports, cash flow management, WIP schedules and accruals.Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work well with client accounting teams and in-house CFOS while building trusted client relationships.Experience in operations management and supply chain management, with an understanding of how operational drivers impact financial statements.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA is highly beneficial.Proficiency with modern accounting software, spreadsheets, and reporting tools; experience in SaaS, healthcare or construction/trades environments is a plus.Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements, prioritize deadlines, and work effectively in a hybrid, collaborative setting.Commitment to ethical standards, continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality client service.Engaging and willing to be a part of team.
