This role is ideal for engineers who excel at requirements, architecture, integration, and cross-stakeholder coordination.What does this mean to you? In this role, you will:Lead and execute systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle: requirements development, architecture, design, integration, test, and verification & validation.Apply acquisition engineering expertise to support analyses of alternatives, technical baselines, risk assessments, cost/schedule tradeoffs, and readiness for key acquisition events.Develop and maintain system and system-of-systems documentation including specifications, interface control documents, configuration baselines, and technical reports.Participate in Enterprise Change Requests (ECRs) and configuration management activities.Support engineering reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.) with clear and defensible technical inputs.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams—software, cyber, platform integrators, program management—to ensure consistent, traceable, and technically sound solutions.Communicate technical issues and recommendations clearly to government stakeholders, including senior leadersThe ideal candidate will have:Demonstrated experience in acquisition engineeringStrong understanding of systems engineering processes, industry standards, and familiarity with MBSE methods and tools (i.e., Cameo/MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, or similar)Ability to produce clear, concise technical and executive-level briefingsExperience using data-driven decision tools, modeling environments, or analytical frameworks to support engineering assessmentsBackground with Navy C4I systems, platform integration, mission architecture, or fleet readiness analysisExperience operating in classified environments or supporting cyber, RMF, or interoperability assessmentsWhat makes someone choose one company over another? The annual salary range for this position starts at $135,000 and goes up, based on your qualifications. We also offer a competitive benefits package and have fringe benefits offered throughout the year. The benefits package value ranges from $13,000 for a single employee, and up to $28,000 for an employee and their family.
